What is The Maker's Room?
The first characteristics that we learn of God in Genesis 1:1 is that He exists and that He is Creator. Later on in Genesis we find that we are made in His image. This means we have been given the ability to think, love, feel, and create. The name 'The Maker's Room' is an attempt to capture this truth. In the natural, it is a space that maker of different crafts can create. At the same time, spiritually, this space belongs to THE Creator of all things and we want to give Him praise and thanks for it!
What we will offer
All Ages Crafting Classes- stand alone classes meant to explore art in a FUN way! Open to older kids to adults. Crafts include paper making, stamp carving, cyanotype printing, and so much more!
Kids' Art Classes- simple and fun art projects meant to explore all forms of art!
Watercolor- a weekly class focusing on the foundations of watercolor.
Calligraphy- learn the basics of brush calligraphy! Beginner and intermediate classes offered.
Songwriting Classes- for established musicians wanting to grow in musicianship and songwriting. Music lessons not offered at this time.
